Holy Cross Lutheran School takes seriously its responsibility to take care of God’s Creation. Students are given information about recycling, but even more importantly are given the opportunity to participate in numerous recycling programs.  Recycling of paper, plastic, aluminum, ink jets cartridges and many other commodities take place on a regular basis.  Many special events focus on care for the environment: Trashformations contest, assemblies, collecting milk jugs lids to receive recycled benches and picnic tables, and NIKE shoe collections.
